HubSpot that actually works.

End-to-end HubSpot consultancy and RevOps strategy for teams who've outgrown guesswork.

25 years building digital products. These days I mostly stop people building the wrong ones.

What I actually do

01

HubSpot Architecture & Optimisation

Lifecycle models, pipeline design, handoff systems, custom objects, and automation that enforces accountability — not just sends notifications.

02

RevOps Strategy

Aligning marketing, sales, and CS around shared data and clear ownership. Designing systems for how teams actually work, not how they say they work.

03

Integrations & Data

Salesforce syncs, migration from legacy tools, multi-system setups, and making sure data flows where it needs to — cleanly and reliably.

A bit about me

I'm Tom. I've spent nearly 20 years in-house — running marketing ops, building CRM systems, and managing HubSpot across SaaS, proptech, and education. Now based in Hampshire UK, running TJM Digital, and working with growing businesses across the world who need someone to make their HubSpot actually do what it's supposed to do.

I've sat where your team sits. I know what it's like to inherit a CRM that nobody trusts, to be asked to "just fix the reporting", and to discover that the workflows someone built two years ago are quietly breaking everything. These days I'm more focused: HubSpot architecture, RevOps strategy, and integration work for teams who've outgrown bodged-together systems.

I'm a lifelong Spurs fan, which has given me a high tolerance for disappointment and an unreasonable amount of goodwill towards former players — a couple of whom ended up as clients and friends. More on them below.

I wrote a book, I've seen every flavour of CRM mess, and I'll always tell you what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear.

Why this matters now

AI can build HubSpot workflows, write integration code, and generate reporting dashboards in minutes. The execution layer of consultancy is being compressed faster than most people realise.

But AI can't read a room. It can't understand why your sales team ignores the CRM, or design a system that accounts for the fact that marketing and sales will never fully agree on lead definitions. It won't push back when the brief is wrong, or tell you the real problem is one you haven't asked about yet.

The value of a consultant is shifting — from execution to architecture, judgement, and accountability.

I'm not here to build things you could build yourself. I'm here to make sure you're building the right things in the first place.

Using HubSpot property history to fix historical deal attribution

HubSpot deal attribution based on today’s contact source is silently wrong for historical deals. The property history API lets you reconstruct what was true at the point of deal creation.
